This is a design-only category, focusing on a commercial project. This project could be in the private or public sector. Judges will be looking for sustainability-led design, a focus on increasing biodiversity and how this project has as little impact on the natural environment as possible.
Domestic Design project
Another design-only category, this time focusing on a domestic garden project. This category will not be judged on overall monetary value, but its value to the natural envrionment. Judges will be looking at the sustainability outlook of the project, the biodiverity elements and the transformational change this project has led to within your business.
Commercial Build project
A build-only category, focusing on the final delivery of a commercial project, whether that’s in the private or public sector. Judges will be focusing on an innovative use of sustainable materials, the impact on the natural environment and how this project has increased biodiversity in its locality. This category is not capped in price.
Domestic Build project
A build-only category, focusing on the final delivery of a domestic garden project. Judges will be focusing on an innovative use of sustainable materials, the impact on the natural environment and how this project has increased biodiversity in its locality. This category is not capped in price.
Sustainable Product of the Year
A product based category. Judges will be looking for products that give back to the natural environment in an aesthetically pleasing way. Products that are recycled or recyclable, designed and produced for a long lifespan and that have had a minimal impact on the planet’s resources would be ideal to enter.
